ALERT: Gardaí issue missing person appeal for teen not seen in five days

Abbie is described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height, with a medium build, brown eyes and long brown hair

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Abbie Reid, who is reported missing from her home in Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, since Thursday, February 6.

15-year-old Abbie was last seen in Dundalk, Co Louth on the same day she was reported missing. 

Abbie is described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height, with a medium build, brown eyes and long brown hair.

When last seen, she was wearing a white coat, matching grey tracksuit, and white shoes.

It is also believed that the teenager may frequent the Dublin or Athy areas.

Anyone with information on Abbie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Castleblayney Garda Station on (042) 974 0668, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
