Taking stock - what have we learned from Mayo's FBD League campaign?

Sunday saw the curtain fall on the 2026 FBD League, with last-minute drama and plenty of excitement on the menu for those lucky few thousand who braved the cold in Tuam Stadium.

Unfortunately for the Green and Red, the pendulum had swung Galway's way by the full-time whistle. That said, Andy Moran would have taken plenty from his first loss as Mayo boss, as well as the other two games earlier in the month.

Here, well run you through five things we learned about this new-look Mayo side across the FBD League, with the National League only days from throwing in on what promises to be an electric Salthill Sunday.
