The September/October edition of Mayo Life is packed full of fantastic local content

Autumn is the perfect time to settle in with the latest edition of Mayo Life. Our team has been gathering inspiring stories from across the county - celebrating the people, places and passions that make County Mayo unique.

Our feature interview brings us back to Tralee with Carnacon native and former Rose of Tralee Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin. Two decades on, she reflects on that fantastic night, her memories of the event, and a career that has taken many fascinating turns since.

Food and drink take centre stage too. Our Tasting Tips highlight the products and events shaping Mayo’s culinary scene this autumn, while Chef Patrick McEllin shares how he blends classic French flavours with a distinctly Irish twist.

Elsewhere, handweaver Beth Moran tells how a move from America to Clare Island led to her true passion, and designer Alan Ardiff explains how Mayo’s landscape inspires his unique kinetic jewellery.

Best known for his hilarious role in Hardy Bucks, actor and comedian Owen Colgan delivers his hilarious take in our Seven Deadly Sins feature.

From food and fashion to art, craft and inspiring local voices, it’s all waiting for you in this issue of Mayo Life.
