Phase four will officially open this Friday, May 17
Michael Ring TD is set to officially open phase four of the Achill experience aquarium and visitor centre.
The opening will take place this Friday, May 17.
The Achill experience aquarium and visitor centre first opened in April 2016 after the board of Comhlacht Forbartha Áitiúil Acla recognised the need for an all-weather attraction in the area. It took two years to bring the initial project to fruition, and since then it has continued to expand.
Eight years on, phase four of the Achill experience is finally opening. The newly expanded aquarium and visitor centre has upgraded features and many more creatures, promising fun for all ages.
The generosity and encouragement of the Achill community and diaspora is what brought the project to life, as they have supported the initiative from the very beginning.
Michael Ring TD will officially open the newly expanded aquarium and visitor centre on Friday, May 17 at 12pm.
Comhlacht Forbartha Áitiúil Acla have extended an open invitation to all the community.
