Proposal to develop sauna facility and zen garden in Mayo town

Planning permission has been lodged with Mayo County Council to develop a sauna and welness space close to Lough Lannagh in Castlebar.

The application lodged by Daithí Ó Gallchobhair of Bunanioo Ltd proposes to create a modular sauna facility consisting of two modular sauna units and outdoor wellness space at Lough Lannagh. The proposed development will be on the grounds of the Castlebar tennis club and be located in close proximity to the Lough Lannagh leisure complex.

Designed by Castlebar-based Masterson Design Ltd, the proposed development will also include a outdoor zen garden and welness space and also a social outdoor hub for users as well as a reception, changing area stands and showers and toilet.
