3: SQUAD DEPTH IMPROVES

The FBD League is often seen as an invaluable way to blood new players, in particular when there is a new face at the wheel, and Andy Moran has taken that opportunity with both hands.

Many players have put their hand up for serious consideration going forward.

Take, for instance, the baby-faced assassin, Darragh Beirne. The flame-haired forward has shown well thus far. Cian McHale and Tom Lydon have displayed an ability to find range at this level.

When you take into account some of the serious talent still to be integrated into the side, one can't help but feel optimistic.
