The title of kings of Connacht is on the line for the young guns of Mayo and Roscommon, as they take to the field in search of glory in the Under-20 final.

Here, we’ll tell you all you need to know, from how to get your ticket, tuning in from abroad, and what the Rossies will bring to the occasion.

Where and when is the game?

The Connacht Under-20 Football Championship final between Mayo and Roscommon will take place in Saint Jarlath’s Park, Tuam, on Wednesday, April 30, at 7 pm

What happened in the last game?

These sides have previous this season. In Round One of the group stage, the Green and Red prevailed by five points in a sun-drenched MacHale Park, with Tom Lydon the star man for Mayo.

There’s been a lot of water under the bridge, however, and time will tell if the Rossies can avenge that one.

What do Roscommon bring to the table?

The Rossies are coming into the back of this one from a thrilling and pulsating clash with Sligo. In a classic Championship blood-and-thunder tie, Mayo’s near neighbours prevailed in a 4-12 to 1-18 humdinger.

If we’re talking danger men, look no further than Rory Carthy. The dangerman notched 1-5 in Bekan last time out, and supplied five points when Mayo and Roscommon last met.
