Diversions are in place as works continue on an important Mayo road.
Mayo County Council has informed the public, that works are taking place each weekday between 9.30am and 5.30pm until July 4, and then again from July 7 to July 11.
The R310 Pontoon to Knockmore Road at the former Healy's Hotel will be affected by it.
The following four pieces of information are deemed helpful for drivers in the area:
- Traffic management in place
- Divert via R315 to Lahardaun-Crossmolina to Ballina and R318 -to Foxford to Castlebar
- Local roads are not suitable for goods vehicles
- Emergency Vehicles Accommodated
