Thousands of Kingfishr fans attended the band’s sold-out gigs in the TF Royal Theatre over last weekend. Amongst them was nineteen-year-old Mayo man, Cillian Coleman.
This wasn’t Cillian’s first time seeing the Irish Folk band playing either. The Ballyhaunis musician previously attended a Kingfishr concert in Manchester and was lucky enough to meet the band while he was there.
“We ended up staying a while after the gig. The band came out and spoke to us,” he told The Mayo News.

“I explained I do music and that I perform in Mayo, Roscommon and Galway.”
Following this Kingfishr asked the Mayo man if he would like to come along to their Castlebar gig and play backstage.
“It was an amazing opportunity and a dream come true,” says Cillian, who jammed with the band on their huge hit 'Killeagh'.
The singer and musician shares videos of his performances on his TikTok @cononcmusic.
