After an absolute tit-for-tat thriller between Saint Jarlaths and Ballinrobe in the Mayo Under-21 B Championship final, who would've walked away with the goods was anyone's guess.
However, the brave substitute for the Easterners went for broke with the world on his shoulders, and his single with the clock in the red kick-started the party.
Smith was in a buoyant mood when he spoke to The Mayo News post-match.
