Thomas (Tom) Byrne, Kiltimagh/Dublin

Thomas (Tom) Byrne , Late of Kiltimagh and Castleknock, Dublin, died on the 8th June 2021. A memorial Mass for Tom will take place on Saturday, the 7th September 2024, at 10.00am in the Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh. Interment of Ashes will follow.

Bea (Bridie) Donnelly (née Fox), Crossmolina

Bea Donnelly, Pulladoohy, Crossmolina, Co Mayo formerly of Carracrum, Bonniconlon, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at St Joseph’s hospital Ballina. Predeceased by her loving parents John and Mary-Kate, brother Martin, sister Una and niece Caroline.

She will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Anthony, and beloved children, Sandra, Tony, Raymond, Deirdre and Brenda. Much loved mother in law of Vincent Ferry, Anne Walsh Donnelly, Maureen Donnelly, Martin Murray, John Damien McDonnell. Treasured grandmother of Calium, Patrick, Darragh, Orla, Caragh, Brian, Liam, Ava, Ella, John, Aodhan, Hannah, Ronan, Conal, Brendan, Cora, Fionn, Erin, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace. Remains reposing at Hiney's Funeral Home Crossmolina (Eircode F26 DH95) on Tuesday evening from 5.30pm until 7.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Tiernan's Church Crossmolina. Burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. Bea's Funeral Mass can be viewed of www.churchtv.ie/crossmolina. 

Gerry Healy, Claremorris / Mayo Abbey

Gerry of Gortnara, Claremorris, Co. Mayo and formerly of Mayo Abbey, Claremorris, died peacefully at Galway University Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply missed by his devoted wife Mary, sons Barry and Alan, loving sister Mary and brother John, daughters-in-law Jennifer and Jessica, his adorable grandson Cian and nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all his close friends, family and neighbours.

Reposing at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris, (F12YP74) on Wednesday evening (4th September) from 6pm with removal at 8 o'clock to his home. Removal from his home on Thursday morning 5th of September to St. Colman’s Church, Claremorris for Requiem Mass at 12o.c. with the funeral proceeding to Mayo Abbey Cemetery, Claremorris.

House private please.

Patrick (Pat Joe) Howard, Belmullet

Patrick Howard (better known as Pat Joe), Gladree Low Road, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on 1st September 2024. Predeceased by his parents Mike and Bridget Howard, sister Bridie Williams and brothers in law Harry Williams and Pat Mahady. He will be mourned by his sons Gerard and Padraig and their mother Julia (née O’Malley), sisters Mary Green (Belmullet) and Rose Ann Mahady (Lacken Cross), brother in law Steve Green, nephew Andrew Green, nieces Marie Williams Carey, Christina Mahady and Denise Mahady, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace. Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Thursday evening from 6pm until 7.30pm with funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery. Paddy Lynskey, Swinford

Peacefully at his home. Predeceased by his parents and siblings R.I.P. Paddy will be sadly missed by his nephew, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, great-grand nephews, great-grand nieces, Anne, Declan, Alan, Mark, Keith, and Ciara, family circle, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Campbell's Funeral Home, Swinford (F12 YE00) on Tuesday 3rd September 6pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday 4th September in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Swinford at 3pm prior to burial in Kilconduff Cemetery. May Paddy Rest in Peace.

Rose McEllin (née Dennigan), Ballinrobe

Rose Mc Ellin nee Dennigan, Liskilleen, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo and formerly of Cloghermore, Holywell, Co.Sligo. Predeceased by her husband David, parents Thomas and rose. Beloved mother of John, Davnet, Donal and Louise and grandmother to Daniel, Sadhbh, Éabha,Clíodhna,Dathí and Indy. Deeply missed by her brother Paddy, brothers and sisters in law, son and daughter in law. Forever loved by her wider circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Saint Joseph’s Funeral Home, Ballinrobe (F31XV63) on Tuesday evening from 6.30pm with removal at 8pm to Saint Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe (F31YA29). Frank Moran, Achill / Dublin

Frank – Rathfarnham and formerly of Castleknock and The Valley, Achill, Co Mayo. 31st August 2024, peacefully surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.

Beloved husband of Mary and much-loved father of Frank Jr., Ciaran, Andrew and Anne-Marie. Frank will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his loving children, grandchildren, Hannah, Luke and Alex, cherished brother and sister Jim and Mary, daughters-in-law, Ita, Jemma and Lynda, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

love leaves a memory no one can steal.”

Reposing at his home on Wednesday, 4th September, between 6pm to 8pm and all are invited to visit and say goodbye. Funeral service to celebrate Frank’s life will take place in Dardistown Chapel on Thursday, 5th September, at 10am, followed thereafter by burial in Dardistown Cemetery (K67 HP26).

Andrew (Andy) Vesey, Charlestown / Ballaghaderreen

(Peacefully) at his home with his loving wife, Josie by his side. Pre-deceased by his parents John and Mollie. Andy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Josie, brother William, sister Bernadette, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Died Thursday 29thAugust 2024. Late of Clonbur, Castlebar, Co.Mayo & Boho, Co. Fermanagh. Denis's remains will arrive at St. Michael's Church, Darling Street, Enniskillen Bt74 7EW on Wednesday, 4th September 2024, at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 5th September 2024, at 11.00am followed by burial in Boho Cemetery. Funeral Mass may be viewed on the Parish Webcam.
