The Eagle Boxing Club gym at the Quay in Westport will echo to a symphony on leather on Friday night when the club hold a much-anticipated tournament. Boxers from across the county and throughout the province will be in the ring as the home club open the doors for an evening which promises great things.
The first bell will sound at 8pm and the young Eagle fighters are hoping to have a big home support ringside for the event.
The home boys and girls have prepared diligently for the tournament and have enjoyed training alongside their clubmate, World Championship silver medalist Nell McLaughlin over the past few weeks.
