'Irrepressible' Mayo woman gets 'all loved up' on return to RTÉ's First Dates Ireland

Double date friends Siobhan from Mayo and Jade from Newry return to the First Dates restaurant on Thursday’s episode

A Mayo woman looking for love is set to make a return to TV screens this Thursday when she appears on the hit RTÉ show First Dates Ireland for the second season in a row.

25-year-old Siobhan from Castlebar appeared in last season's opening episode, where she found herself on a double date of sorts with James from Cavan, alongside his best friend, Stephen and Jade from Newry.

While things went well with James, the former banker turned giveaway show presenter, and they agreed to a second date, the pair ultimately didn't work out.

In a funny twist, Siobhan and Jade became best friends since they met at the restaurant last season, so much so the two singletons are renewing their quest for love on Thursday night's episode with another double date.

The irrepressible Siobhan gets all loved up with a hopeless romantic from Shankill, Stephen, while Jade compares figures with accountant Nicole from Cork in the second instalment of the new series.

Other daters in the restaurant this week include Megan and Aidan and Lyle and Annika.

Relishing each other’s spicy flavour, Megan from North Carolina and retired quantity surveyor Aidan from Dublin get good and saucy over dinner.

Driving instructor Lyle from Clondalkin applies his tried and trusted ‘3-second rule’ to cabin crew attendant Annika from Waterford. But will it win him a second date?

All will be revealed on Thursday night’s episode at 9.30pm on RTÉ 2.
