Smyths Toys Superstores launches Christmas Ad Campaign

Get ready to giggle this Christmas season as Smyths Toys has launched its latest Christmas ad campaign.

The advert showcases the anticipation and excitement kids feel when they hear the magical words, ‘Smyths Toys’.

The new campaign for the Mayo based company, whose headquarters are in Claremorris, captures reactions of children who can hardly contain themselves at the thought of visiting their favourite toy store, Smyths Toys Superstores.

But that’s not all, in a playful twist for parents, Smyths Toys has also released a special ‘bleeped’ version of the ad.

In this edition, every time the words ‘Smyths Toys’ are mentioned, they’re cleverly censored with a bleep, making it a fun, light-hearted take on the excitement the brand sparks. This version is perfect for parents who might want a few minutes of peace without their kids catching wind of the name and begging to go immediately.

“Our Christmas ads are always focused on the joy and wonder that children experience when they think of Toys and Smyths Toys, and this year, we wanted to have some extra fun with it,” said Sinead Byrne, European Marketing Director at Smyths Toys.

“The bleeped version is a playful nod to how irresistible our brand is for children, and we hope families enjoy the humour of it this festive season,” she added.

The full ad, along with the special bleeped version, will be available across social media platforms, YouTube and TV from Friday 1st November. Parents and kids alike are encouraged to tune in and share in the festive fun.

Smyths Toys continues to be the go-to destination for families seeking the latest and greatest in toys, games, and entertainment.

Whether you’re looking for the hottest new releases or timeless classics, Smyths Toys has something to make every child's Christmas wish come true.
