Last Saturday, Westport RFC lost their Junior Cup match against Sligo 2nds 10-26.

But in a twist of events, this result has been reversed.

In a meeting of the Connacht Rugby ACC yesterday (Tuesday, January 21), it was decided that Westport and Sligo 2nds will be swapping places in the Junior Cup.

Which means Westport will play in the Junior Cup quarter-final away against Tuam, scheduled for Saturday, February 8 at 2pm.

And Sligo 2nds will continue their search for a trophy in the Junior Plate.
