Two Mayo pharmacies are set to undergo rebranding as part of a national rollout.
Mayo residents will soon notice a significant transformation in their local pharmacies as LloydsPharmacy locations across the county begin rebranding to McCabes Pharmacy, signalling the start of an exciting new chapter for community pharmacy care in the region.
In the coming months, both LloydsPharmacy's in Westport and Claremorris will undergo this rebranding, following the successful transition of the Ashleaf store in Dublin last week.
With this move, McCabes Pharmacy is solidifying its presence across Ireland, expanding its footprint to 112 stores, and employing 1,400 people.

The transition reflects evolving healthcare needs, including the rise of digital health, a focus on personalised and preventative care, and the expanding role of pharmacies in providing integrated health services.
Sharon McCabe, CEO of McCabes Pharmacy, said they are excited to ‘mark a new chapter in the Mayo community and nationwide’.
“By coming together under the McCabes Pharmacy name, we are not only expanding our reach and becoming more accessible to our patients, but also reinforcing our dedication to patient-centric healthcare.
Ms McCabe also shared her excitement for new services that the rebrand will bring, such as next day delivery and click and collect options.
Jan Pieter Hallema, Managing Director LloydsPharmacy, commented: “Whilst our patients will still see the same familiar faces from the teams they know and trust, this new more resilient pharmacy network combines the strengths of both brands allowing us to enhance our services and continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
Prescriptions and medication orders will not be affected, and service will continue as usual.
