A new compilation album looks set to become a popular seller for John Kelly, ‘The Man from Knock’, this summer. John has selected 12 songs from his recent albums and included them in this specially-chosen selection which is already winning much favour around the area. Without doubt, it will be one of the top sellers in his home village with the many visitors and pilgrims to Knock throughout the season ahead.
The cover features John pictured against a background of Knock Basilica and was taken by well-known Westport photographer and country music enthusiast, Frank Dolan. “I am especially pleased with Frank’s photo. You could say it brings it all back home for me,” says John.
The songs featured on the album are ‘The Lassies from Belmullet’, ‘God Bless You Ireland’, ‘Any Town In Ireland’, ‘The Little Isle of Green’, ‘Phil The Fluter’s Ball’, ‘Lovely Westport’, ‘I’ll Settle for the Shores of Ireland’, ‘The Grand Old River Moy’, ‘Doonaree’, ‘Maria Is Heading Out to California’, ‘Memories of Mayo’, and ‘The Road to Malinmore’.
Further information in relation to the album can be had from John at 087 2418788 or email jpkelly@eircom.net.
