Have you ever rushed out the door looking like a dogs dinner, face devoid of make up, wearing something that would scare the cat and thinking you won’t meet anyone? Well, if you’re like me not alone will you meet someone, but it will be the very ‘someone’ who always looks impeccable! Arrgghh!
Whether you’re a young mother juggling school runs or someone who stays home all day with just the occasional trip to the shops, wouldn’t you love to be able to slap on a couple of products that will at least make you look presentable.
Well, fear no more ladies, as I’m going to give you a few easy tips that will transform every disheveled duckling into a sublime swan – and using only four products. The best thing is you can do it all in just under four minutes. Just trust me on this one!

1. Tinted moisturiser
Let’s face it, when you’re rushing to get out in the morning, you’re probably not going to take the time to meticulously check for foundation streaks. The brilliant solution is tinted moisturizer. It does exactly what it says on the tin: It hydrates your skin with a hint of colour. It’s a lifesaver. I’m a big fan of Vichy, and their Lumineuse Sheer tinted moisturizer will get you glowing. Price €17.50

2. Blusher
Apply a bit of blusher to the ‘apple’ of your cheeks. The wonderful Irish Company Fuschia have a great cream/gel blush that is oil free and provides a hint of seductive colour on the cheeks (price €15, see fuschia.ie for more details).

3. Mascara
Eyes can be a giveaway, so open up those peepers with some volumising mascara.
Max Factor’s Fusion False Lash effect does just the job at a very realistic €15.99.

4. Lips
Whether you go for full-on lipstick or prefer the glossy look, a touch of colour or shine on your lips can transform those pale, washed-out lips to a colourful, kissable pout. Again, Max Factor have come up trumps with their Colour Collection of lipsticks at €10.49.
Now, don’t tell you can’t find four minutes to look fabulous…
