Mayo TV and West Fest have joined forces to beam the music festival in Aghamore all over the world.
Mayo TV to broadcast live from West Fest
Mayo TV and West Fest have joined forces to bring music fans and Mayo natives all over the world exclusive live pictures and behind the scenes footage from Mayo’s biggest ever music festival West Fest, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday June 4 and 5. Broadcasting live from the festival arena on the Sunday, Mayo TV (www.mayotv.ie) will also show footage of the enormous amount of preparation that goes on behind the scenes as Aghamore prepares to welcome up to 10,000 people to Co Mayo. “We are thrilled to be broadcasting live from West Fest, as like Mayo TV, it is a new and exciting concept for the county,” commented Mayo TV director Piaras O’Reilly. “The live show from West Fest will be packed with celebrity interviews, live Skype links to Mayo natives around the world, loads of live music, great competitions, interviews with the music fans in Aghamore and insightful discussion and debate with the West Fest organising committee. We are delighted to be able to showcase to the world the vision and passion these people have for their community and county.” West Fest promoter Donal Byrne said the partnership with Mayo TV is an exciting venture and something that has huge potential for the music festival and Mayo. Since it was launched two months ago, Mayo TV has received 1.2 million hits.
