Kilmeena midfielder Jack Carney reacts to Mayo GAA intermediate championship

'It was a brilliant battle' admits the Mayo inter-county footballer after final whistle in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park

Kilmeena have won the Mayo GAA intermediate football championship.

Relegated from senior last year, the boys coached by new manager Damien Egan survived a very close two-point attempt from Moy Davitts' Anthony Jordan to lift the Sweeney Cup for the second time in three years.

We chatted to Jack Carney after the final whistle.
