O’Mahony unhurt in car accident
Mayo Football Manager and TD, John O’Mahony was involved in a traffic accident on Saturday evening while on constituency work. The accident took place at 7pm on Saturday evening just outside Swinford but fortunately he was unhurt in the accident. Speaking from his constituency office in Claremorris yesterday, Deputy O’Mahony thanked all the people who have contacted him by phone and text enquiring and wishing him well following the car accident. He added that while he was shaken he was feeling fine and thanked all who helped at the scene including the O’Hara and Higgins families and the local Gardaí.
