Man denies running Claremorris brothel


A Brazilian man accused of operating a brothel in Claremorris will appear before Castlebar District Court on May 15 where he will deny the charges against him.
Joel Dantas De Souza of 1 Maystone, The Green, Dunmore, Co Galway is accused of assisting in the management of a brothel at 10 Chapel Court, Chapel Lane, Clare, Claremorris on February 4 last along with having a Portuguese passport whilst not being a Portuguese national.
Mr Brendan Donnelly, solicitor for the defendant said his client will be pleading not guilty to the offences he is charged with.
