At the event, plenty of Mayo smiles were beaming as they took to the stage.

Ciara McGrath, from No Name Club Crossmolina, was the first to accept her award for her nomination for Host of the Year. Ciara is a Transition Year student at Gortnor Abbey School.

Diane Hession was also nominated for the title. Diane is a Transition Year student at Mount Saint Michael Secondary School and is a member of the No Name Club in Claremorris.

Con Nolan is a volunteer with the Claremorris group and has served the youth of the town for over 25 years. At the ceremony, he received a vase commemorating his service to the No Name Club, as well as his 20 years of work with the No Name Club head office in Dublin.

The No Name Club Ireland chairman, Doctor Garrett Keenaghan, was full of praise for all the nominees at the event.

“These awards are about more than achievement; they’re about character,” he stated.

“Our winners reflect the very best of what young people can become when they’re trusted and supported. No Name Club is about helping young people find confidence, connection, and purpose, and this is proof that the model works.”
