'No one expected anything' - Kilmeena heading for first intermediate Connacht final

Pitchside: The Connacht GAA Intermediate Football Championship will be decided in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park on Sunday when Kilmeena meet Strokestown

The Mayo GAA intermediate champions Kilmeena will face a stern challenge in the Connacht final on Sunday.

The team managed by Damien Egan are pitted against Roscommon champions Strokestown in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.

Quite a few wouldn't have predicted this outcome at the start of the year. Especially with many changes on the panel, a new management team and uncertainty around the team after relegation from senior football.

But Damien Egan and his boys have proven the doubters wrong by bouncing straight back up to senior football, beating Moy Davitts in the county final.

Watch our panel of Michael Gallagher, Oisín Bradley and Ronan O'Donnell chat about the upcoming weekend in Mayo Sport, as we also tackle Tooreen's chances in their provincial decider.
