Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup trophies to touch down in Mayo

Mayo football supporters will have the chance to get up close to three of the most iconic trophies in the sport when they arrive in Castlebar later this month.

The Champions League Cup, FA Cup and Barclays Premier League Cup will all go on display at the TF Royal Theatre on Friday, September 25, as part of ‘An Evening with Harry Redknapp’.

The trophies will be available to view throughout the evening, with supporters also given the opportunity to have their photograph taken with the silverware for €20. All proceeds from the trophy experience will go directly to Mayo FC.

The special evening will see former Premier League manager and football personality Harry Redknapp take to the stage for an evening of stories and anecdotes from a managerial career spanning more than four decades.

Redknapp has enjoyed a successful and long-spanning career in the English game, taking charge of the likes of Bournemouth, West Ham United, Portsmouth, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers.

The event is being held in association with Mayo FC as the county’s newest senior football club take their first steps for a historic first season in the National League.

Supporters and families are being encouraged to arrive early to make the most of the trophy experience and the opportunity to capture a photograph with three pieces of football history.

‘An Evening with Harry Redknapp’ gets underway at 8pm on Friday, September 25, with doors opening at 6pm. The Meet and Greet begins at 7pm.

Tickets for the Harry Redknapp event are priced at €33.65 for general admission, while a Meet and Greet option is available for €76.25 plus fees. The separate trophy photograph opportunity costs €20, with all proceeds going to Mayo FC.
