Chamber launch Mayo 'Shop Local' promotion draw for Christmas 2025

Westport Chamber of Commerce is once again launching the 'Westport Shop Local Promotion 25' next week – this is similar to last year’s very successful event. The Chamber are now looking for retailers and businesses to get on board once again with the campaign.

The initiative will afford shoppers who spend a minimum of €20 to receive a ticket for a free draw for up to €5,000 worth of gifts. The first drawn ticket will give the winner €1,000 worth of shopping vouchers/products from local Westport businesses. Subsequent draws will provide vouchers of various values. Shopping locally supports our town and locality. Your support of the promotion, as always, would be much appreciated by either a voucher or a cash donation.

The hugely popular Paddington Bear helped Geraldine Horkan and Dermott Langan launch the Christmas 2025 Shop Local promotion draw.

The Chamber will distribute all the point-of-sale materials, Information leaflets, Entry Tickets, Competition Entry Box etc, and ask that retailers inform their staff about the working of the promotion. Offer a free ticket for all sales over €20, the customer should then complete the ticket with their name and contact details and drop the completed ticket into the competition box.
