It has been confirmed that Tyrone referee Sean Hurson will be the man in the middle for Mayo's National League clash with Donegal on Sunday.

The Galbally Pearses clubman has been appointed to take charge of the O'Donnell Park showdown between Division One's table-toppers.

Hurson has regularly taken charge of All-Ireland finals over the years, and is also a clubmate of Mayo coach Paddy Tally.

Mayo have plenty of history with the whistler, including the 2023 All-Ireland Championship preliminary quarter-final against Galway in Salthill.

The game gets underway at 2pm on Sunday in Letterkenny.
