Enda Hession who came close to scoring a fabulous goal last Sunday against Galway
Mayo players Enda Hession and Darren Mc Hale have been selected on the latest GAA team of the week.
Hession from Garrymore put in a decent showing against Galway as he most often does. Galway goalkeeper Connor Gleeson denied Hession at a crucial moment in the game where the speedy defender’s effort came close to hitting the net.
Darren Mc Hale put Mayo into an early lead thanks to a well worked goal. The Knockmore clubman kicked 1-2 before he was substituted in the final stages.
Next up for Kevin Mc Stay’s Mayo is Cavan, who they will face on the weekend of the 17th/18th of May in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
