Westport Covey Wheelers are a very active cycling club and on October 6, embarked on an awe-inspiring journey, conquering the scenic route from Mizen Head to Malin Head over three exhilarating days and eleven counties. This adventure was not just about pedals and pathways; it was a testament to resilience and unity. Twenty-six dedicated cyclists pedalled their hearts out, supported by the unwavering commitment of two vans and four vigilant drivers who ensured smooth progress along the way. Despite a few mechanical hiccups, the determined pack pressed on, and all 26 riders crossed the finish line triumphantly.

Their journey was not solely about the miles they covered; it was a heartfelt endeavour in support of the Westport Order of Malta. Their collective efforts garnered an astounding €5100, a testament to their selflessness and passion for making a difference in their community and clubs. The organisers would like to say a very well done to all who took part, helped, supported and donated to the project.
