Castlebar Celtic, fresh from a 5 nil drubbing of Carbury FC at the weekend, have been handed the toughest draw of the three Mayo sides left in the last 64 of this season's FAI Junior Cup.
Stevie Gavin's men will have to make the journey to Pike Rovers in Limerick on the weekend of November 25/26. The Limerick side have been a force in the competition for some years now, winning the tournament in 2010/11, while losing two finals since in 2017/2018 and 2021/22.
The draw would seem to have been some what kinder to the two other Mayo sides left in the competition. Both Westport Utd and Manulla have been drawn at home to Dublin based sides. Westport will take on Galty FC while Manulla face Malahide Utd. Their games too are expected to be played on the last weekend in November.
