In 2001, Crossmolina Deel Rovers made history — becoming the first Mayo GAA club ever to win the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship.

A small town. One team. One chance at history. Now, 25 years later, the full story is told.

From the early struggles to the final triumph, this documentary captures the pride, pressure, and passion that carried a community to glory.

Thanks to the extensive archive, match footage and valuable commentary from PJ Hughes and Greg Burke, we were able to draw on a treasure trove of memories. A Mayo News Sport production, big thanks to Crossmolina Deel Rovers and especially Mike Gallagher. Interviews, camera and editing by David Rischke.
