THE two remaining Mayo teams in the FAI Junior Cup face away trips for the next round of Irish junior soccer’s premier competition.

Mayo Super League and Connacht Cup champions will travel south-east to Waterford to face Villa FC while Ballyheane will play either St Michaels from Tipperary or Crumlin-based Blackforge.

Castlebar Celtic progressed to the sixth round of the FAI Junior Cup after beating their old rivals Westport United in a game that drew hundreds of supporters to Celtic Park in Castlebar.

Ballyheane, meanwhile, eased past Ratoath Harps with a seven-goal victory in Pat Quigley Park last weekend.

All sixth-round FAI Junior Cup games will be played on the weekend of February.
