It was confirmed by the FAI yesterday evening that the organisation would not be renewing Stephen Kenny's contract as Republic of Ireland manager.
The Boys in Green played out a 1-1 draw with New Zealand at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday night, which ultimately turned out to be Kenny's last act as Irish boss.
The former Dundalk manager, who took over from Mick McCarthy in 2020, was on the touchline for 40 international fixtures - only winning 11 games during his time in charge.
The next international window isn't until March so the FAI have time to choose their ideal candidate for the job.
But who are the bookies' current favourites to become the next Republic of Ireland boss?
Former Irish and Manchester United captain Roy Keane is the frontrunner at the moment while ex-Celtic manager Neil Lennon is also one of the names at the top of the list.
