As well as offering coffee, customers can expect curated wines, hampers and gifts in store.
Owner Rodney O’Donnell shared his enthusiasm for this new chapter: “I’m excited to share a personal milestone — I’m opening Grub, a deli and grocer built around good food, good coffee, and community.
"We’ll be offering artisan products, fresh sandwiches and salads, beautiful wines, meats, cheeses, and meals made in-house for you to enjoy at home.
"My goal is to create a welcoming space that celebrates local talent and great produce. If you’re a maker, grower, or producer who’d like to explore supplying Grub, I’d truly love to hear from you. Community is stronger when we build it together.”
Welcoming the opening, Mairéad Melody Carr, Manager of Mayo North Tourism, said: “It’s fantastic to see new local businesses opening in Ballina, bringing fresh energy and supporting our community. Grub Deli Grocer is a wonderful addition to the town, and we wish Rodney and the team every success.
"New ventures like this enrich the visitor experience and highlight the quality of local produce we’re lucky to have here in North Mayo.”
