Mayo man Caelan Doris is primed to mark his return to the rugby pitch after a lengthy injury layoff on the biggest stage of all this weekend, as Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has made the decision to include him in the squad to face the All-Blacks.
Leinster captain Doris had been subject to a long spell on the sidelines after sustaining a shoulder injury all the way back in early May when playing for his province in the Champions Cup semi-final against Northampton Saints.
Now, six months on, fans can hope to finally see Lacken's finest in action in Chicago as Ireland gear up to repeat their glory days of 2016 by downing New Zealand in Soldier Field.
The imperious number eight has missed out on plenty of rugby in the last few months, including the chance to represent the British and Irish Lions in their tour of Australia.
However, he will be hoping to make some impact from the bench on Saturday, as Ireland aim to create even more history.
Kick-off in Ireland v New Zealand is at 8.10 pm on Saturday, November 1.
