Destiny Dempsey, 12, has been located 'safe and well'
Searches for a 12-year-old child who was reported missing more than a week ago have been stood down, gardai have confirmed.
Gardaí had issued an urgent appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Destiny Dempsey who was last seen in Dublin city centre shortly before 1pm on Tuesday, September 17.
Searches had been carried out by gardai and members of Destiny's family and in an update, issued late on Tuesday night, it was confirmed there has been a positive outcome.

"Missing person Destiny Dempsey, 12 years of age who was last seen on North Earl Street, Dublin 1 on September 17, 2024 has been located safe and well," read a brief statement issued by the Garda Press Office.
No further details relating to the circumstances in which Destiny was located have been disclosed publicly.
Gardai have thanked members of the public and the media for their assistance since the appeal was issued.
