Man charged over €108,000 worth of cannabis found in Kildare
Gardaí have charged the 40-year-old man in relation to the cannabis herb drug seizure of €108,000 that occurred in North Kildare on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
The man is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning, Friday, March 15, 2024 at 10.30am.
The charge relates to an operation in which gardaí from the Kildare North Drug Unit, in collaboration with the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Revenue Customs officials, targeted the sale and supply of controlled drugs in North Kildare.
During the operation on Thursday, a residential property in Leixlip, Co Kildare, was searched, resulting in the seizure of cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €108,000.
The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
