Coming home for Christmas: The number of people expected to depart and arrive at Dublin Airport

With Christmas only three days away people will be arriving into airports worldwide to get home to be with their families. 

Ireland's biggest airport, Dublin Airport, will be no different as over 100,000 passengers are expected to depart and arrive today (Friday, December 22) - making it the busiest day in the lead-up to Christmas.

According to RTÉ, roughly 1.5 million people are expected to travel through Dublin between December 18 and January 6.
