Vazquez, who began his coaching career in 2005, gained valuable experience in Galway when he arrived in the city five years ago.
Working alongside former Galway United Head of Academy Johnny Glynn, Vazquez coached the Tribesmen's under-13 team before he guided the under-14s to National League of Ireland glory in 2021 - defeating Shamrock Rovers 2-0 in the final. Since then, he has worked with numerous Galway Junior League clubs and founded the XVAcademy earlier this year.
Xavi will take over a Ballinrobe outfit that earned promotion to Mayo's top-flight division following their second place finish in the Premier League last season. Pat O'Sullivan's side finished on 40 points for the campaign, four points behind champions Claremorris.
Speaking to the Mayo News about the appointment, Vazquez said: "I'm delighted to sign for Ballinrobe Town next season.
"It is exciting times ahead. The club wants to keep progressing - this type of mentality and desire is what made me come here.
"I want to help the club achieve their long term objectives and, in the short term, be competitive week in and week out while having our own clear identity.
"We want everybody in the club (players, coaches, volunteers and supporters) to be proud of the junior side every weekend."
