Easter festivities at Kylemore Abbey are set to attract visitors from across Mayo and the West
Spring has arrived at Kylemore Abbey as the historic estate launches a packed programme of Easter celebrations, offering a major seasonal attraction for visitors to the west, including those travelling from Co. Mayo.
Running from March 28th to April 12th, the 1,000-acre estate will host a wide range of family-friendly activities, combining nature, heritage and culture along the Wild Atlantic Way.
At the heart of the celebrations is a specially designed Easter Trail through the renowned Victorian Walled Garden, where visitors can explore the colours and renewal of spring in full bloom. The estate’s extensive grounds, featuring almost 8km of woodland and lakeside walks, will also be open for exploration.
Across the Easter weekends, visitors can enjoy live musical performances inside the abbey’s historic castle, with local artists performing traditional Irish music and harp recitals in the atmospheric Fordham Law Great Hall.
