Ireland West Airport Knock issues important update for Mayo fliers

The rules apply to E-Visas and the need for passports and passport cards for flights between Ireland and the United Kingdom

Ireland West Airport has issued an important update to those flying to and from Mayo regarding flights between Ireland and the UK.

The new regulations on E-Visas and ID requirements come into effect on Wednesday, February 25.

From that date, all Aer Lingus customers will require either a passport or an Irish passport card for travel. No other forms of identification will be accepted.

All non-Irish and non-British passengers will be required to apply for an E-Visa or an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).

At present, this only affects one route from Ireland West Airport, as Aer Lingus only flies between Knock and London Heathrow.
