Mayo County Council has granted permission for a major residential development in Carrowbaun, Westport. The development will see the construction of 97 new homes.
Planning permission was granted to Carrabaun Developments Limited to construct 97 new homes. The development will see the construction of 19 detached houses (4-bed), 33 terraced houses (2,3 & 4 bed), 9 own-door apartments (1 & 2 bed), 18 ground floor terraced own-door apartments (2-bed) and 18 own-door terraced duplex apartments (3-beds).

In addition to the construction of the 97 housing units, a 2-storey creche/community building is set to be developed.
New site access points will also be developed for both cars and pedestrians.
Additionally, the proposal includes site landscaping, boundary treatments, public lighting, connection to the existing site services (water and foul waste), and all other associated site works.
