Kylemore Abbey is set to host 'The First Light of Christmas' on Sunday, November 30.
From 4.30 pm, the Mayo Male Voice Choir will perform a selection of Christmas Classics in Ostyn Hall in the Monastery, Education and Retreat Centre. Following this, the Kylemore Abbey Christmas tree will be lit up for the first time and can be viewed from the bridge across Pollacappul Lake from 5.30 pm to 5.45 pm.
Kylemore Craft and Design shop will be open until 6pm, offering a selection of unique gifts, handmade festive treats, mulled wine and seasonal drinks.
Seating for the choir performance is limited and can be secured via Eventbrite.
