LEADER Programme 23-27 in Mayo launched by Minister Dara Calleary

The LEADER Programme 23-27 in Mayo was launched by the Minister for Social Protection and Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary on Friday, June 27.

Mayo Local Action Group (LAG) are delighted to announce that the LEADER programme 23-27 is now open to accept ‘Expressions of Interest’.

With a project budget of €6.6 million for Mayo, LEADER Funding is available for various initiatives, including economic development, rural infrastructure, and sustainable development of the rural environment.

LEADER is a Community Led Local Development (CLLD) approach that involves the participation of rural communities in developing responses to the key economic, environmental and social challenges identified in their areas.
