In a statement, Mayo and Fianna Fáil’s Minister Dara Calleary welcomed the news and spoke highly of the impact of the group on communities in the county.
"This latest allocation of funding will also help to maximise the impact of Mayo Sports Partnership’s resources, while building partnerships and capacity through local community sport and physical activity investment," the Minister stated.
