THE funeral of a man killed in a road accident near Balla will take place in Ireland and Lithuania.
Nikolaj Litvinov of McHale Road, Castlebar, and formerly of Lithuania, was killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking on the N60 at Carrowntober Oughter, Manulla, shortly before 11 pm on Tuesday, October 1.
He will repose in Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on Monday (October 14) from 5 pm -7 pm. Removal from Coady’s Funeral Home will take place on Tuesday morning at 10.30 am for a private cremation ceremony in Lakelands Crematorium, Co Cavan.

The burial of his remains will take place in Lithuania at a later date, where his ashes will be laid to rest alongside his late mother.
He is survived by his family in Ireland and in Lithuania, his sister Anzelika (Castlebar), brother Michail (Lithuania) and father Vladimir (Lithuania), relatives, friends and co-workers.
