BALLINROBE Golf Club was broken into in the early hours of this morning (July 27), The Mayo News can reveal.
Damage was done the front door and office of the premises during the break-in, which occurred at approximately 3am.
The drawer of the till was the only item taken from the premises.
The alarm went off during the break-in before gardaí attended the scene at approximately 4am.
At this point the perpetrators - who were caught on camera - had left the premises.
Gardaí have received a statement from the proprietors and are to conduct a forensic investigation later today.
