After the huge success of last year’s sold-out event, west-of-Ireland heart and stroke charity Croí has announced that this year’s Croí Go Red Ball will take place in scarlet style on Friday, March 22.
The glamorous black-tie event will take place at the Galmont Hotel & Spa in Galway, offering a magnificent setting for a fun-filled evening. To add a touch of flair and support the cause, attendees are encouraged to wear a hint of red, whether it’s a scarf, bow tie, dress, headpiece, or a simple red rose.
Sponsored by Irish Life Health for the second consecutive year, the 36th annual Croí Ball promises an evening of sophistication, entertainment and philanthropy. Guests will be treated to a drinks reception, complemented by fresh local oysters.
MC for the evening will be the renowned Barry Murphy, best known for his starring role in Aprés Match. Guests are promised an exquisite four-course evening meal followed by an electrifying performance from ’90s tribute band, Smash Hits.
“The Croí Go Red Ball is not only a fantastic social event but a vital means of support for the essential services we provide within our communities,” Mark O’Donnell, Chief Executive of Croí, explains.
“Croí is largely dependent on donations and events to fund our activities and events like the Croí Ball play a crucial role in helping us to prevent cardiovascular disease, as well as supporting those who have experienced a cardiac event or stroke. We’re grateful for the continued support and we look forward to making this year’s event even more memorable.”
Individual tickets are available for €150, while tables of ten can be secured for €1,500. Limited tickets are on sale now. For ticket purchases or sponsorship details, please contact Mike at mike@croi.ie or Christine at christine@croi.ie.
