ONE of Westport’s most popular pubs is to host a not-to-be-missed comedy night over the Christmas period.
Blousers pub will host Ireland’s best travelling comedy club Seomra Spraoi on December 29, where a variety of locally and nationally renowned talent will be on display.
A total of seven acts will grace the appropriately named ‘Best in The West’ comedy show, including local man and organiser Cillian MacGabhann and acts from further afield like Sean Ryan, Robbie O’Donnell, Cathal Shanagher, Ken Linsdey and Colin Lynch.
The event is returning to James Street following a successful debut at the height of summer.
Master of ceremonies for the event will be Dublin-based comic Aideen McQueen. Complimentary snacks will also be served.
‘The Best In The West’ commences at 8.30pm in Blousers on December 29.
Tickets can be purchased from Eventbrite for €10. Limited tickets will be available at the door for €15.
