No matter what your musical taste, you’ll find something to suit at this year’s Galway Arts Festival (July 13 to 26).
Award-winning singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Julie Feeney (above) will perform in St Nicholas Collegiate Church on June 16. No doubt the Galway native will be treating those gathered to songs from her recently released second album, the spellbinding ‘Pages.’
Alternative rock band Fight Like Apes (left), one of the best new bands to emerge from Ireland in recent years, will take centre stage in the Roisín Dubh on July 14.
The incomparable Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club (right) will bring their brand of barrio blues, juke-joint jazz, psychedelia, tropicalia and whatever you’re having yourself to the Róisín Dubh the following Saturday night, July 18.
Three different acts, three different sounds, one big party.
